Short-Term Hangar Rental

Daily aircraft hangar rentals across the United States — no monthly contract, no annual lease. Just book the days you need, and pay only for those.

Rent a hangar by the day, not the year

Traditional hangar leases are built for one thing: the based aircraft that lives at the field full-time. If you only need indoor parking for a weekend trip, an overnight stop, or a few days while you visit family — those leases don't work for you, and most airports won't write them.

Quick Hangar fixes that. Our entire platform is built around short-term hangar rental: covered indoor parking, available by the night, by the weekend, or for however long the trip calls for. Hangar owners earn money from days they aren't using their own space; pilots get a roof over the airplane for exactly the time they need it. No monthly commitments, no security deposits, no lease paperwork.

How daily hangar rental works on Quick Hangar

  • Set the dates. Pick your arrival and departure. We'll show only hangars available the full window.
  • Verify it fits. Enter your tail number once and we compare your aircraft's wingspan, length, and height against every hangar's actual dimensions — including a safety buffer.
  • See the daily rate. Every operator sets their own rate; there are no hidden fees at checkout.
  • Book and pay. Stripe handles payments — we never see your card number. You'll get email and text confirmations at every stage.
  • Show up and unlock. For hangars with Master Lock smart locks, the app unlocks the door. For others, in-app chat handles coordination without exposing personal phone numbers.

What does daily hangar rental cost?

Pricing varies by airport and hangar size — owners set their own rates. As a benchmark, daily rates on the platform typically range from $45 to $200 per night, with single-engine T-hangars at the lower end and larger box hangars or premium markets at the higher end. The hourly rate for short stays is calculated automatically (daily ÷ 24), so a quick lunch stop doesn't cost you a full night.

At checkout you'll see the daily rate and a clearly highlighted total. A 15% platform fee is split evenly between renter and operator (7.5% each). FBO-operated hangars waive the operator side, so renters pay 7.5% plus standard Stripe processing fees.
