Why we exist
Every pilot has lived the same problem. You fly in for the weekend, the weather turns, and there's not a covered tiedown to be found. Or you own a hangar that sits vacant for the time you aren't using it. If you only occupy the space part of the time, why not share it? You receive income, a fellow pilot parks indoors. Everyone wins.
Quick Hangar was built to fix both sides of that equation. We connect pilots who need a place to park with hangar owners who have space to share — by the night, by the week, or however long the trip calls for. No phone tag with airport managers. No guessing whether your wingspan will clear the door. No wondering how you'll get the keys when you land at 9 PM.
Our story
Quick Hangar was founded in February 2025 out of a simple observation: general aviation had been waiting on a real short-term hangar marketplace for decades. The infrastructure to do it right — smartphones, Bluetooth smart locks, instant payouts, real-time chat, mapping — had all finally arrived. The only thing missing was someone willing to put it together and treat both sides of the market fairly.
So we did. We spent most of 2025 building it the right way: a verified aircraft fitment system pulled from real registry data, end-to-end payments through Stripe Express Connect, in-app access control with Master Lock smart locks, and a chat system that never leaks personal contact info between users. We rolled it out to early ambassadors at airports we knew personally, gathered feedback, and iterated.
On December 23, 2025, the iPad and iPhone app went live on the Apple App Store. A week later, the Android app followed on Google Play. Today the platform is live across the United States, with hangar owners and pilots discovering each other every day — and a growing network of ambassadors at airports nationwide spreading the word.

How we're different
We're aviation-native. Every part of the product was designed around real flying — wingspan and door-width checks, hangar dimensions captured precisely, airport codes everywhere they belong, transient visitor tracking for FBOs, and ambassador codes for the airport community that helped build this.
We don't hide fees. Our 15% platform fee is split evenly between renter and operator (7.5% each), waived on the operator side for FBOs. What you see at checkout is what you pay.
We protect both sides. Identity verification, encrypted documents (AES-256), Stripe-handled payments (we never see card numbers), in-app chat that doesn't share phone numbers, and a real support team behind every booking.
